About Us

Claralee Black founded Wig Wam Boutique in Bloomington over 50 years ago and was a mentor to Donna in her journey with wigs.  When Claralee passed away in 2017, her niece, Marshalene Evans with help from her husband Dean, took over the Wig Wam business and then also purchased Get Wiggy in Columbus, IN in 2020.  In November of 2022, the Wig Wam moved from 17^th Street to 3^rd Street to have more space and add Merle Norman Cosmetics.  In late 2023, daughter Kristina Mozingo-Fitzgerald, moved back to Jennings County and has begun helping with both locations as we continue to grow.

We are hopeful that after Donna takes some much deserved time off, she will join us in Bloomington a couple of days a week to continue to be available to her loyal customers and others who benefit from wigs & add on hair and also the Merle Norman Cosmetics & skin care products.

If you just need a replacement for a wig or hair piece you already have, feel free to give us a call and we will check our stock to see if we have it or be happy to take a deposit over the phone to get it ordered for you. 

We currently have over 1300 wigs in stock at each store (plus many extensions, toppers and hair add ons).   Our goal is to have enough choices in stock that most customers can take home the style & color they want in one visit.  We also try to keep stock on styles and colors that we know customers are likely to replace regularly so you don’t have to wait on us to order.  We will be reviewing purchase histories over the next few months to expand our selections for any wigs popular with Wigs & More customers that we don’t already carry.

Note:  It does help to call ahead for an appointment so we can plan to have two people working and still accommodate walk-ins while we give priority to those with appointments.  However, we can often take same day appointments and will always do our best to take care of walk-ins.
